Abstract The present study aimed to standardize and investigate the psychometric properties of the Persian version of the Revised Rating Scale of Received Support in Intimate Relationships (SIRRS-R). The method of this study is descriptive-correlation of psychometric type. The statistical population of this study was Iranian married men and women living in Shiraz city in 1402-1401 with the age range of 18 to 66 years, who have been married for at least one year and have not separated, and a sample of 251 people was selected using available sampling method. The instrument used in this study was the 25-item the Support in Intimate Relationships Rating Scale – Revised (SIRRS-R) developed by Berry et al. (2009). Data analysis was done using SPSS and AMOS software version 23. The results of calculating Cronbach's alpha of the overall scale and each of its subscales, all of which were reported above 0.90, showed the excellent internal reliability of this scale. The results of examining the structural validity using confirmatory factor analysis showed that the factor loading of all items was higher than 0.30, which indicates that the factor loading of all items was significant and the structural validity was appropriate. Considering the calculation of the fit indices, the value of the chi-square on the degree of freedom (X2/df), which indicates the overall fit of the model, was estimated to be 1.79< 3, indicating that the model has a good fit overall. So, the psychometric characteristics of the Persian version of the scale were confirmed.
