The Effectiveness of Reality Therapy on Self-Care Behaviors, Distress Tolerance, Self-Harm, and Death Anxiety In Primiparous Women

Abstract
Background: The purpose of this study aimed at the effectiveness of reality therapy on self -care, distress tolerance, self -esteem and the anxiety of first women's death. Objective: The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of narrative therapy on the rumination of divorced mothers in Behbahan. Method: he semi -test research method was with the pre -test and post -test design with the control and follow -up group. The statistical population includes first -rate women at the Mashhad Mama Midwifery Counseling and Midwifery Service in the second half of 1403, which had a medical record, 45 people were selected by targeted sampling and were assigned in two experimental and certificates. The experimental group was placed 10 90 -minute sessions under the Glaser Reality Therapy (2000). The group did not receive a training certificate but was on the waiting list for training. The data collection was based on the self -care, distress tolerance, self -esteem and anxiety of death. Data were done using descriptive indicators and repeated variance analysis by SPSS software. Findings: ignificant education reduced the scores of distress tolerance and death anxiety and self -care and increase self -care in the experimental group (P <0.01). Along with medication therapies, it is recommended that reality therapy be performed on first women.
