Abstract
Aims: The present study was conducted with the aim of predicting emotional expression based on the strategies of non-compromise and rumination of anger in women affected by marital infidelity in Isfahan city.

Methods: In this research, which was carried out using a correlational descriptive method, 156 people were selected by purposive sampling from among all the women affected by marital infidelity who visited counseling centers in Isfahan city in the summer and fall of 2023. To collect data, questionnaires of emotional expression, cognitive regulation of emotion and rumination scale of anger were used. Data analysis was also done with Pearson correlation and simultaneous multiple regression statistical methods in SPSS24 software.

Results: The results showed that non-compromising and rumination strategies predict anger by 0.583 from emotional expressiveness. Also, the impact of uncompromising strategies on emotional expressiveness is -0.57 and the effect of anger rumination on emotional expressiveness is -0.31. These results show that women who use more non-compromising strategies and rumination of anger have problems in emotional expression.

Conclusion: Therefore, it is suggested that suitable educational and counseling programs be designed and implemented to empower women to use compromised strategies and reduce anger rumination.
