Abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of life therapy on life satisfaction, life expectancy and quality of life in infertile women. The statistical population of the research included all infertile women who referred to the specialized gynecology and obstetrics clinic in Sari city in 1401 with the number of 37 people. For sample selection, 30 people who have been diagnosed with infertility were selected by non-random sampling method and randomly placed in two groups of 15 people, control and experimental. Then both groups were given the questionnaires of enthusiasm for life, life expectancy and quality of life in three stages of pre-test, post-test and follow-up. The data was analyzed using mixed variance analysis by SPSS software. The findings showed that life therapy in infertile women was better for the variables of passion for life (p=0.000, F=20.045), hope for Life (p=0.000, F=31.190) and quality of life (F=12.556, p=0.001) were effective, so it can be concluded that life therapy increases passion for life, hope for life. And the quality of life affects infertile women.

Abstract The family is the smallest social unit and its stability or instability will leave frequent negative effects on family members and society. Based on this, the aim of the current research is to investigate the effect of central self-evaluation on the criteria of choosing a wife in single men at the age of 20-35 (marriage age). The current research is applied in terms of purpose and correlational in terms of descriptive method. The statistical population consisted of unmarried men aged 20-35 (marriage age) of Melair city in 1400, from which 200 people were selected as a sample by cluster random sampling. The research tools included the central self-evaluation questionnaire of Judge et al. (2003) and the questionnaire of criteria for selecting a spouse by Schwartz and Hassibrook (2012). Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient and simultaneous regression analysis. The results showed that with the increase of central self-evaluation, the quality of mate selection criteria will increase. Therefore, the criteria for choosing a wife in single men are related to the central self-evaluation of people.

Abstract The aim of the present study was to investigate the psychometric properties of questionnaires of emotion regulation strategies and distress tolerance in students. The research method was descriptive and the statistical population of the present study was made up of all the secon year high school students of Lorestan province in the academic year of 1402-1401. A number of 348 of these people were chosen by available sampling method and responded individually to the scales of emotion regulation strategies (ERQ) and distress tolerance (DTS). Cronbach's alpha coefficient, concurrent validity, content validity and construct validity (confirmatory factor analysis) were used for data analysis. The data was analyzed with the help of Excel, SPSS-25 and AMOS-24 software. The results of the internal consistency coefficient showed that this scale has good reliability. Also, the results of content validity (examination of expert opinions), concurrent validity (significant positive correlation between two scales and subscales at P<0.05 level) and construct validity (RMSEA<0.08, CFI>0.9, GFI >0.9) are approved. The results of this research showed that these scales have good reliability and validity in the Iranian population and are suitable self-assessment scales for clinical and research situations.

Abstract The current research is of the type of applied purpose and in terms of method, correlation is based on structural equations. The sample was 566 people who were selected using the multi-stage cluster sampling method. The research tools include the determination questionnaire (Duckworth and Kunin, 2009), the intelligence implicit beliefs questionnaire (Abdelfattah and Yates, 2006) and the academic engagement questionnaire (Tinio , 2009). The collected data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling method and AMOS software. The results of the data analysis showed that the research model based on the experimental data has a good fit. The growth mindset had a direct and positive effect on the dimensions of academic engagement (cognitive, behavioral, emotional). The results related to the indirect relationships showed that the growth mindset through persistence of effort had a significant indirect effect on all dimensions of academic engagement (cognitive, behavioral and emotional), on the other hand, the growth mindset through the stability of interest had a significant indirect effect only on the dimension emotional was academic engagement and the indirect effect of growth mindset through the stabilityof interest on the cognitive and behavioral aspects of academic engagement was not significant.

As a result, the persistence of effort dimension of determination mediated the relationship between growth mindset and all dimensions of academic engagement (cognitive, behavioral, and emotional), while the stability of interest dimension of determination only mediated the relationship between growth mindset and the emotional dimension of academic engagement.

Abstract The purpose of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of solution-oriented therapy on the quality of life at school and the academic adjustment of students. The research method was a semi-experimental pre-test-post-test type with a control group. The research population included all the students of the first year of high school in the 15th, 16th and 17th districts of Tehran, of which 30 people were selected by available sampling method and 15 people were replaced in the experimental group and 15 people in the control group. The academic adjustment questionnaire of Clark et al. (1976) and the quality of life at school by Anderson and Burke (2000) were used to collect data. The experimental group received Grant's (2011) solution-oriented treatment during eight sessions, each session lasting 45 minutes. Multivariate covariance analysis with SPSS software was used to analyze the data. The findings showed that the solution-oriented approach was effective on the quality of life in school and the academic adjustment of students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of solution-oriented therapy can lead to an increase in the quality of life in school and academic adjustment in students.
