Abstract
There are many short-term approaches to therapy psychological disorders and counseling, including; Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Paradox Timetable (PTC), and Single-Session Therapy (SST) approaches, which are more common nowadays. The SFBT approach, with its future-oriented and solution-oriented outlook, has good results in therapy and seeks to solve the client's problem by finding forward-looking solutions with the help of exceptional central questions. Also, the paradoxical approach, with the method of periodic time exercises, has taken miraculous steps in trying to change and strengthen the patient's "Ego" and therapy disorders. The method of reviewing sources and research was used in this article and the aim of this research was to compare the two approaches of SFBT and PTC. The foundations, principles, therapy plans and therapy techniques of each of the two approaches were compared and the results obtained in this research showed the PTC method is more efficient, effective, faster, more economical, deeper, and with better results and with a minimum recurrence rate of 5%, it is used to therapy most disorders and has the original components of a comprehensive approach compared to the solution-oriented approach and other therapeutic approaches. Therefore, this method is strongly recommended to clinical psychologists, couple therapists, and personality therapists.
