The relationship between mental health and work-life balance in elementary school teachers in the 20th district of Tehran

Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of the effect of life skills training on the irrational communication beliefs of men with extramarital relationship experience. The statistical population of this research was all men with experience of extramarital relationship who referred to the family counseling centers of 9th district of Tehran in 2019, and using the purposeful sampling method, 30 of these people were randomly selected into two experimental and control groups (15 15 people were assigned to the experimental group and 15 people were assigned to the control group. Also, the tools used in this research are Idelson and Epstein's (1982) list of irrational communication beliefs and life skills training protocol. The experimental group was trained in the life skills program in 8 sessions of 50 minutes. Data were analyzed using univariate and multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCONA) and Spss-24 software. The results showed that life skills training is effective in reducing the illogical communication beliefs of men with extramarital relationship experience, and the results indicate a reduction in illogical beliefs (destructiveness of opposition, immutability of spouse, expectation of mind reading, sexual perfectionism and gender differences). It is the effect of teaching life skills to the experimental group.
