Abstract The present study investigates the causal relationship among marital satisfaction, internet addiction, and psychological well-being with lifestyle mediation. The research method is a descriptive correlation of structural equations. The available sampling method (due to the Coronavirus outbreak) was chosen for 300 faculty members of the Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz to complete questionnaires via Email and WhatsApp in 2021. Data analysis with the goodness-of-fit index of structural equations, standard and non-standard path coefficients, and Bootstrap was conducted by SPSS and AMOS softwares. Path coefficients of internet addiction with negative psychological well-being β= -0.22, p= 0.01, marital satisfaction with positive psychological well-being β= 0.21, p= 0.01, and lifestyle with positive psychological well-being β= 0.26, p= 0.01 are significant. Path coefficients of marital satisfaction with positive lifestyle β= 0.11, p= 0.04 were significant, and path coefficients of internet addiction with lifestyle β= -0.14, p= 0.04 were not significant which confirms the hypotheses. In the indirect path, the lower and upper limits of the confidence interval were, respectively, marital satisfaction 0.04, 0.12, internet addiction -0.08, -0.14 with psychological well-being were significant. An increase in internet addiction decreases psychological well-being while an increase in marital satisfaction and lifestyle score boosts psychological well-being.
