Among the statistical population of mothers of autistic children, 30 people in the city of Isfahan were selected based on the criteria for entering the research and randomly selected to the experimental group (n = 15: under the vision therapy program during 8 group sessions once a week). and the control group (n=15: did not receive any intervention) were assigned. All participants completed Snyder Snyder's (1991) adult hope scale and Nolen Hoeksma and Marlowe's (1991) rumination scale in three baseline stages, after time perspective treatment and follow-up stage.

The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the hypothesized model is consistent with the data, and the academic skills questionnaire has six separate factors, which are reading and studying skills, note-taking skills, summarizing skills, concentration skills, planning skills, and exam-taking skills. Through Cronbach's alpha, internal consistency was between 0.50-0.66 for six subscales and 0.83 for the total score of the test. In order to check the validity of the convergent construct, the academic enthusiasm test and students' GPA were used. The correlation coefficient between academic skills test and academic enthusiasm was 0.55 and academic performance was 0.31, which were significant at the level of less than 0.001. In order to check the validity of the divergent construct, the academic procrastination test was used, and the results showed that the correlation between the two tests was -0.56 and it is significant at the level of less than 0.001. According to the results of this research, it can be said that the academic skills scale is a valid and suitable tool for measuring the academic skills of students.
