Abstract The present study was conducted in order to evaluate the effectiveness of group happiness training on the prevention of relapse in patients suffering from substance abuse. In a quasi-experimental study with a pre-test-post-test design, 30 drug abuse patients referred to the self-reported welfare center of Shiraz, who had successfully completed the detoxification course, were selected using the available sampling method. Randomly, they were placed in two experimental and control groups (15 people each) and answered the recurrence prediction questionnaire in two stages, pre-test and post-test. Then, the experimental group underwent group happiness training for 10 ninety-minute sessions, and the control group did not receive any intervention. Data analysis was done by SPSS-21 software and using covariance analysis test. The results indicated a significant decrease in the relapse prevention score in the experimental group compared to the control group in the post-test phase. Therefore, happiness group training is effective in preventing the relapse of substance abuse patients.

Abstract Neuro-verbal programming refers to specific connections between neurological processes, language and behavioral patterns that are learned through programming. The main aim of the study was to investigate the effectiveness of neuro-verbal programming (NLP) on reducing the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder in patients who refer to medical centers in Yazd. This was a semi-experimental study with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group and using random assignment. The sample of this study consisted of 30 people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, who were selected using available sampling method and randomly assigned to two experimental (15 people) and control (15 people) groups. The instrument used in this study was the Revised Event Impact Scale (Weiss and Marmer, 1979). The experimental plan was presented to the experimental group in 10 sessions. In order to analyze the data, SPSS-23 software and the statistical test of covariance analysis were used. The results showed that neuro-verbal programming had an effect on reducing the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (p<0.05). Also, in the two-month follow-up period, the effectiveness of neuro-verbal programming was effective in reducing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (p<0.05). Therefore, it is suggested to use this treatment in future researches to reduce the psychological and behavioral problems of people.

Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship and determine the predictive role of different dimensions of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence in conflict management styles of female nurses. The method of the current research was descriptive and of the type of correlational studies. The statistical population of the research consisted of all female nurses in Isfahan city and the sample size was 278 of them who were selected by cluster random method. The measurement tools were Petrides and Farnham's Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (2000), King's Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire (2008) and Rahim's Conflict Management Styles Questionnaire (1983). To analyze the data, statistical methods of Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple multivariate regression analysis were used using R software version 3.6.2 (car and gvlma packages). The findings showed that there is a direct relationship between the dimensions of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence with efficient conflict management style (collaboration) and an inverse relationship with other conflict management styles (competitive, coercive, avoidant and compromise) and the role of each factor of emotional intelligence And spiritual intelligence was determined in predicting conflict management styles of female nurses. Women who have higher emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence manage their marital conflicts more efficiently. Therefore, by strengthening emotional intelligence and providing solutions to increase emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence, marital conflicts can be managed much better and more efficiently.

Abstract The purpose of this research was to investigate the mediating role of metacognitive beliefs in the relationship between cognitive regulation of emotion and mindfulness of students with social anxiety and employees of the Ministry of Science and Research in the years 2015-2016. The method of the current research was correlation and the sample of this study included 120 employees with high social anxiety who were selected from among 321 employees using available sampling method after identification. Four questionnaires were used to collect information, the short form of Wells' Metacognition Questionnaire, Cognitive Regulation of Emotion Questionnaire, 5-Factor Mindfulness Questionnaire, and Conover's Social Anxiety Questionnaire. Then descriptive and inferential statistical analyzes (Pearson correlation and path analysis) were performed on the data. A direct, positive and meaningful path from self-blame, rumination, blame of others and description and non-reactivity is established on social anxiety. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the components of cognitive regulation of emotion and mindfulness of employees with social anxiety.

Abstract The present research was conducted with the aim of predicting marital satisfaction based on emotional intelligence and emotional creativity of couples. The research was of the correlation type and the statistical population of the research was all couples working in education and training in Tehran province, region 4, who were selected by cluster sampling method with a sample number of 200 couples. The tools used in the research were the emotional intelligence questionnaire of Pitrides and Farnham (2001), marital satisfaction by Elson, Forins and Druckman (1982) and emotional creativity by Avril (1999). The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics (multiple regression and Pearson correlation coefficient) and using spss20 software. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence, emotional creativity and marital satisfaction (P<0.001). Also, emotional intelligence and emotional creativity have the ability to predict marital satisfaction (P<0.001). As a result, the results of this research can be used to develop educational packages to reduce marital conflicts and increase marital satisfaction.
