The effectiveness of resilience training on improving the quality of life and psychological toughness of women heads of households

Abstract
The present study was conducted in order to determine the effectiveness of resilience training on improving the quality of life and psychological toughness of female heads of households. The research method was a semi-experimental type with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the research was all female heads of households covered by the Kermanshah Relief Committee in 2017. Among these women, 30 people were selected in a targeted way and then randomly replaced in two groups of 15 people, experimental and control. In order to collect information, World Health Organization quality of life questionnaires (QFQ) and Ahvaz Psychological Toughness (AHI) were used. After the pre-test, the experimental group in 8 weekly sessions of 90 minutes, resiliency training based on the theory received Henderson. Then the post-test was performed for both groups. The results of covariance analysis showed that resilience training significantly increased the mean scores of quality of life components (except physical health and environmental health components) and psychological toughness in women. has been supervised (p<0.001).
